Upside is about making great coffee easy. Whether you are new to the brew, or know your Brazil from your Burundi, we’re sure we’ll have something you’ll love!
We are a small roastery, working with independent producers to bring you wonderful coffees from all over the world.
While the name Upside is a hat-tip to the Northside of Dublin that we call home, it also represents the positive impact that we believe coffee can have on someone's life.
Whether your morning ritual of making a brew, or a catch up with a friend over coffee, to growing friendships with our partners across the world, this business gives us plenty to smile about.

Upside is a Dublin-based, independent roastery run by Jamie & Lucy since 2016. Working together with local businesses and contributing to Ireland’s thriving speciality foods scene is what gets us out of bed in the morning!
Wholesale covered
We pride ourselves on working with some of the best cafés and restaurants in the country. Along with wholesale coffee discounts, you’ll get access to education and training to help your baristas and team get to know our product.
From sourcing espresso machines and grinders and getting the most out of your equipment for consistent quality, to streamlining your workflow for the most efficient service, we draw on our wealth of experience to help you out, so you can give your guests an unforgettable coffee experience.
We always want to have a hearty coffee in our range, with a slightly more traditional roast style. Our Classic Espresso is consistently strong, smooth, heavy and rich-textured.
Designed to work perfectly in brewers like a cafetiere, a stovetop or a home espresso machine.
If you like a drop of milk with your cafetiere, or even just that feeling when you know you are drinking a nice strong cup of comfort coffee, then this one should be your first port of call!
The current Classic Espresso is a natural process single origin from Brazil - Fazenda Da Mata. This is a Yellow Catuaí variety brought to us by our friends at Viva imports.
