Colombia Felix Torres Bourbon Ají Washed Filter

This is a clean, floral and sweet fully washed Bourbon Ají from Felix Torres, grown at the Hoyo Frío farm in Curití, Santander, Colombia. Bourbon Ají is a rare and distinctive variety, and this lot brings a zingy, bright cup.

Filter brews of this coffee are tasting bright and juicy, like apricot and lemon tea along with a delicate bit of floral rose. Santander is an exciting origin that’s still less well known than some of Colombia’s other regions, and this coffee is a great example of why it’s worth watching: clean, fruit-forward and really satisfying.

Like all our filter roasts, this is probably not suitable for espresso machines. If you are looking for a better option to brew on your home espresso machine, drink your coffee with milk, or want a coffee with heavier body and texture, safer to choose one of our espresso roasts.
