El Salvador Carlos Pola Anaerobic Filter

from €14.00

This is a wonderfully sweet, full-bodied and smooth anaerobic natural process from Carlos Pola’s Finca Las Brisas farm, in Juayúa, El Salvador. The variety is Pacas, and it’s a terrific easy-drinker for a light filter roast.

Filter and AeroPress brews of this coffee are tasting super balanced and smooth - with fig, treacle and almond liqueur and heaps of caramel sweetness coming through. This is also an excellent example of a clean anaerobic process coffee - often these processes can bring a little too much sharpness or ferment flavours, but this is lovely and smooth!

Like all our filter roasts, this is probably not suitable for espresso machines. If you are looking for a better option to brew on your home espresso machine, drink your coffee with milk, or want a coffee with heavier body and texture, safer to choose one of our espresso roasts.
