This is a beautiful Colombian light filter roast from Alirio Rodriquez’ Finca El Recreo farm. A really subtle natural process gives the coffee a rounded and balanced flavour with heaps of sweetness. This has remarkable clarity and smooth mouthfeel - one of those coffees where it’s hard not to finish the whole brew, every sip is satisfying!
In pourover filter or AeroPress, you’ll get a lot of natural sweetness, with honey and blood orange tasting notes taking centre stage. This is balanced out with some lovely sultana and black tea coming through.
Like all our filter roasts, this is probably not suitable for espresso machines. If you are looking for a better option to brew on your home espresso machine, drink your coffee with milk, or want a coffee with heavier body and texture, safer to choose one of our espresso roasts.
