Whether a V60, Chemex or Kalita , these all follow the same principle: a paper or metal filter in the device, adding coffee and slowly pouring water over the grounds, letting gravity do the rest of the work to extract the brew.
Typically, you can expect a brew a little lighter in body compared to most other brewing methods, letting the tasting notes shine through with crystal clarity. We find this makes it perfect for a light filter roast served without milk, but you can also brew a darker roast if that floats your boat!
