Upside Espresso is a celebration some of the best quality coffees available, suitable for espresso. Its components change as new harvests become available, but it always showcases the flavours that make speciality coffee so interesting.

This one makes for a terrific espresso. From the Alvarez Gallardo family farm in the Bálsamo Quezaltepec coffee growing region of El Salvador, this washed macerated coffee tastes like chocolate, vanilla & cherry.

The macerate process involves keeping the coffee cherries sealed and submerged in water for 24 hours, while carbon dioxide is pumped in to remove oxygen. The coffee is then pulped and dry fermented for 12 hours.
